For the third release in the Arcana series, we went to the cradle of civilization to source a cigar that is the first of its kind for CAO. Thunder Smoke is blended with tobacco grown in the shadow of Africa’s Victoria Falls, the local Sotho name that translates to “The Smoke That Thunders.”
In this region, we uncovered tobaccos from Zimbabwe, Cameroon, and South Africa that offer a thrilling and exotic cigar experience, the likes of which have never been smoked by CAO fans.
The cigar features a Honduran Olancho San Agustin wrapper, a Mexican San Andrean binder, and a filler blend of South African, Zimbabwean, and Cameroon tobaccos—making it the first CAO premium cigar to showcase South African tobacco.
